Ο Ζαφειρόπουλος Αθανάσιος του Ζαφειρίου γεννήθηκε στην Άνω Ζαχλωρού Νυμφεύτηκε την Παπαχριστοπούλου Αθηνά και απέκτησαν τέσσερα παιδιά, τον Ζαφείρη, την Ρομφαία, την Ευαγγελία και τον Δημήτριο.

Εκτελέστηκε από τους Γερμανούς στις 08-12-1943 στο Μέγα Σπήλαιο.
