Γεννήθηκε στην Κερπινή Αρκαδίας. Νυμφεύτηκε την Πηνελόπη Εμμανουηλίδη και απόκτησαν δύο παιδιά τον Πολύβιο και άλλο ένα που απεβίωσε μικρό και πιθανόν αβάπτιστο.
Εκτελέστηκε από τους Γερμανούς στις 13-12-1943 στην Λάκκα του Καπή.
