Ο Δουφεξής Βασίλειος γεννήθηκε στου Φίλια Καλαβρύτων απ΄ τον Αθανάσιο και την Μαρία Δουφεξή. Νυμφεύτηκε την Πανουτσοπούλου Μαρία και απέκτησαν δύο παιδιά, την Σοφία και τον Αθανάσιο.
Εκτελέστηκε από τους Γερμανούς στις 13-12-1943 στην Λάκκα του Καπή.
