Γεννήθηκε στα Καλάβρυτα από τον Ηλία Ροδόπουλο και την Παρασκευή Χρυσάνθου από το χωριό Κερπινή. Είχε άλλα έξι αδέλφια: τον Αλέξη(εκτελέστηκε), τον Παναγιώτη(εκτελέστηκε), τον Γιώργο, τον Στέφανο, την Αργυρώ και τον Ασημάκη.
Εκτελέστηκε από τους Γερμανούς στις 13-12-1943 στην Λάκκα του Καπή.
